Enhancing Access to Nature: Practical Lessons from TNC in CT

Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

We will share how TNC in CT is working to improve physical access and visitor experience on our preserves, drawing on recent projects and lessons learned. We’ll discuss considerations such as trail and infrastructure improvements, wayfinding, safety, and responding to community needs, emphasizing what has been most useful in our experience so far. Participants will be invited to exchange ideas and challenges to support more accessible, welcoming preserves statewide.
