Connecticut Land Conservation Conference
March 22, 2025
Wesleyan University, Middletown
Workshops
Land Trust Law School
The Land Trust Law School is back! Keith Ainsworth, a 30-plus veteran of environmental litigation and the Acting Chair of the CT Council on Environmental Quality, will present from multiple perspectives. It will be back to the basics of CT law that landowners and conservationists should know to be effective stewards, deal makers, and risk managers. Participants will review the statutes and case law that govern CT land uses and environmental law, along with the perennial favorite – the ever-vexing state of Tree Law. This workshop is for all levels and combines a presentation by Attorney Ainsworth and questions from those present.
