Learn How Unique and Valuable Lidar Imagery Is
Learn how to use Lidar imagery for your baseline reports, stewardship plans, and stewardship activities. We will explain what Lidar is and how it is created. We will show how to access its images on the free UConn CT Eco website. We will then show how to use and interpret lidar images, including making georeferenced maps with those images, on the CT Eco website, and in various computer software and phone apps. Lidar imagery brings your property’s current and historical use to light. Once your eyes are open to the world of lidar imagery, you will be eager to see all your properties in a new way.
