What are the Species of Greatest Conservation Need? Connecticut’s Wildlife Action Plan identifies over a thousand plants and animals that are in the greatest need of conservation. Which are most in need, why are they disappearing, and how do we bring them back? This talk will provide updates on the status of some of our most beloved plants and animals; what is being done to save them; and how you can help. We will also provide some fascinating stories of their life cycles and interactions. Understanding these life histories will help guide conservation planning.
