Connecticut State Capitol

Connecticut Needs to Take Action NOW on Climate

We urge you to join CLCC and advocates across the state by asking Governor Lamont to call a special session to take action on climate.

The 2024 regular legislative session ended without action on critical bills that would address climate change, missing the opportunity to advance policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote renewable energy and energy efficiency, enhance climate resilience, and integrate nature-based solutions across Connecticut.

Action: Please Contact Governor Lamont TODAY

Message: Connecticut needs to act NOW! Please convene a Special Session on Climate!

CALL Governor Lamont’s office: (860) 566-4840 ext. 1 Calls can be made Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

EMAIL Governor Lamont: governor.lamont@ct.gov and cc your legislators or send a message through the Governor’s website here.

Thanks for taking action

Connecticut can’t afford to wait to advance critical policies that will protect our environment and communities now and for generations to come. Please contact the Governor today.

As always, thank you for your advocacy and commitment to land conservation and a sustainable future.
