2021 Conservation Conversations – Johnson Farm

October 15, 2021   |   4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Join CLCC and Steep Rock AssociationConnecticut Farmland Trust, Litchfield Hills Greenprint Collaborative at Johnson Farm Preserve for a special discussion that brings together state legislators and land trusts across regions in Connecticut to highlight community conservation success stories made possible in part by DEEP’s Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition Grant Program (OSWA) or Urban Green and Community Garden Program (UGCG) – funded by the Community Investment Act.

We will gather outside to hold Conservation Conversations in person (following any COVID-19 guidelines) across the state this fall in which land trusts will showcase their wonderful properties with an opportunity to discuss land conservation and other local important issues.

“Located in the southeast corner of Washington, the 52-acre Johnson Farm Preserve showcases several active agricultural fields, as well as a mix of sunny meadows and shady, open forests. 2 miles of hiking trails crisscross this landscape, offering breathtaking hillside views.” (From the Steep Rock Association website)

Space is limited. Registration is required.
