CLCC, Sierra Club CT, and the Black Wing Coalition invite you to a morning of Black History and Birding on Sunday, February 15, beginning at 10:00 Am.

We will gather at the Ancient Burying Ground for a brief guided tour focusing on Black history and led by Alycia Jenkins of Sierra Club CT. After the tour, we will walk three blocks to the Mortensen River Waterfront Plaza for bird watching co-led by Ade Ben-Sal of the Black Wing Coaltion and Vanessa Daye of CLCC.

During the bird walk, we will use the eBird app to record our bird observations for the Great Backyard Bird Count.

Binoculars and snacks will be provided, but if you have your own binoculars, please bring them along. The more the merrier!
