Invasive Removal Walk & Talk with the Aspetuck Land Trust

This session will highlight the implementation and outcomes of a comprehensive 10-year invasive species management plan, now in its fifth year. Participants will gain insight into strategic prioritization methods, including the targeted elimination of seed sources for high- impact species such as Winged Euonymus, Japanese Barberry, and Oriental Bittersweet. Staff will share lessons learned, adaptive management approaches, and the role of coordinated volunteer engagement in scaling restoration efforts across a large, ecologically diverse landscape.
