Join CLCC for an informal regional gathering designed to help neighboring land trusts connect, share experiences, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Many land trusts in northern Connecticut are working with similar challenges: limited volunteer capacity, stewardship demands, leadership transitions, fundraising needs, and the ongoing effort to protect and care for land in a changing landscape. This roundtable will create space for land trust leaders to step back from day-to-day responsibilities and talk with peers about what is working, where help is needed, and where there may be opportunities to work together.

Through facilitated discussion, participants will identify shared conservation challenges and opportunities facing the region and consider possibilities for collaboration, regional partnership, shared services, and more.

Land trusts operating in the following municipalities are invited to attend: Bolton, East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield, Manchester, Somers, South Windsor, Stafford, and Vernon.

Multiple representatives from each land trust are encouraged to attend. The program is free, and refreshments will be provided. Registration is required to help us plan accordingly.
