In light of social distancing measures, Joshua’s Trust has made its Gurleyville Grist Mill accessible via YouTube. Notably, this 19th-century grist mill is not a restoration project but what local historian Bruce Clouette refers to as “a snapshot in time” and contains a complete system of preserved milling equipment.

The virtual tour walks through this preserved space, detailing the names and uses of the different pieces of equipment, and includes a look at elements not usually seen on the in-person tours.
