The Bridgewater Land Trust received an exciting donation of 45 acres of forestland, meadow, and wetlands along Lake Lillinonah with connecting frontage on Northrup Street. The donation came from Governor Ned Lamont and his wife Annie Lamont, who have owned the property since 2005. Now known as the Lamont Preserve, the land connects to The Nature Conservancy’s Sunny Valley Preserve, extending the protected greenway and conserving core forest for wildlife habitat…
