Northeast Land Trust Regional Advancement Initiative

Eastern CT Forest Landowners Association/Wolf Den Land Trust
The New Roxbury Land Trust

Four land trusts participating in the Northeast Land Trust Regional Advancement Initiative—a multi-year project offered by the Connecticut Land Conservation Council and The Last Green Valley with a grant from the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut—received small grants to improve their communications toolbox.

Taking what they learned from individual and group sessions with communications consultant Judy Anderson, three of the land trusts chose to improve their websites and enhance their e-communications, while Joshua’s Trust integrated LANDSCAPE software, a new approach to managing and communicating conservation projects. Impressive under normal circumstances, these communications projects have proven even more relevant in a COVID-influenced world.
