The Director of Programs will be a key figure in Perfect Earth’s leadership team,  developing and maintaining key partnerships, working with senior and junior staff to advance programmatic goals, and representing the organization to the public in  conferences, symposia, and workshops.

They need to be friendly, fast on their feet, and currently engaged in the ideas and practices of ecological land management and community building. They should be a creative and organized self-starter with experience in horticulture, environmental science, conservation biology, and/or restoration ecology.

The Director of Programs must be able to communicate confidently on topics such as plant/wildlife interactions, soil biology, and water usage; have a real commitment to toxic-free and nature-based practices; have personnel and program management experience; and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.

The Director of Programs is a fully remote, full-time senior-level position that reports to the Director, and interacts regularly with the Director of Operations and the Director of Content and Communications to coordinate organizational efforts. Regular travel around the country will be required, mostly in the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard to begin.
