Executive Director – Valley Conservation Council
Valley Conservation Council (VCC), an accredited land trust, is seeking an ambitious, experienced, and energetic Executive Director. The successful candidate will possess a love for land conservation and demonstrated success in fundraising and nurturing community relationships. Since 1990, VCC has helped protect tens of thousands of acres of farmland, forests, wetlands, unique ecological features, and historic landscapes in Virginia’s scenic Shenandoah Valley. VCC’s service area is situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, the Allegheny Highlands, and the Jefferson and George Washington National Forests. It is an important agricultural center and is visited by millions each year for its natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities.
