Conservation Careers & Job Opportunities

Westchester Land Trust is looking for a passionate and engaging conservation professional to implement the ongoing stewardship of our 34 (and growing) nature preserves across an ecologically diverse region of New York.

The ideal candidate will be excited to:

• Lead our new forest health initiative across our preserve network, which will serve as a model for landscape-level forest restoration in the face of climate change, invasive species, and tree diseases.
• Empower the next generation of conservation professionals through our Conservation Apprentice program.
• Engage preserve neighbors, stewardship volunteers, Board Members, and other partners in conservation.

Approximately 50% of this position is field-based and approximately 50% is office-based.
