The Wyndham Land Trust’s 2017 acquisition of 254 acres on Bull Hill, funded in part by a DEEP OSWA grant, triggered a series of purchases and land donations that now total 771 acres protected in Thompson and Woodstock. The most recent addition of 10 acres will be preserved as a bird sanctuary and wildlife habitat.

The properties are part of the largest unbroken forest block in the region, 3,000-acres of mature upland forest, wildlife habitat, and public water supply.
