“The Land Trust is most grateful to these property owners who decided to donate their parcels together so that when assembled they would become a unique preserved landscape feature within the golf course for Bloomfield residents to enjoy forever.”

Thanks to the generosity of local landowners who love their land and community, the Wintonbury Land Trust has completed the Beacon Hill Preserve. The 14.4 acres of hardwood uplands offers spectacular views of a local reservoir to the east and Penwood State Park on Metacomet Ridge to the west. The acquisition process for the Preserve began over eight years ago, involving multiple landowners and other private and public stakeholders.
