Board of Directors

Doris Johnson joined the CLCC’s Board of Directors in 2020.

Passionate about producing future environmental stewards, Doris has coordinated, developed, and implemented numerous environmental awareness programs and projects that have reached over 1000 youth across the state. In her role as Outreach and Education Coordinator for DEEP’s Environmental Justice program, Doris has been an instrumental resource for communities and municipalities, helping to tackle issues on illegal dumping, asbestos, housing, brownfields, and air pollution.

Doris has worked with numerous organizations including The City of Hartford Parks Commission, The Friends of Keney Park, No Child Left Inside, Wintonbury Land Trust, and more, dedicating her time and efforts to environmental education and justice. She brings to CLCC an incredible depth of knowledge and a steadfast commitment to community and conservation.
