CT Trail Finder

Room: Boger 115
Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

The CT Trail Finder is an interactive website that includes trail manager approved trails across the state. It contains a variety of ways to search for trails, and each trail post includes approved uses, a description, map, and trail manager (new volunteers!). Trail connections are evident on the map view, even when properties have different owners and trails have different managers. Trail finder benefits both managers and visitors. For managers, it provides an outlet for accurate information, and for visitors, it provides a reliable place to find accurate information. Coming next year are trailside services which connect trails to local economies. Come learn about CT Trail Finder, the trail posting process, and how it can complement and enhance your Land Trust’s trails. CT Trail Finder is a project of UConn Trails Program, Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR), and Extension. It is funded by the CT Greenways Council and CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP).
