Room: Usdan 136
Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

Join Dr. Ivette Ruiz, founder of Healing by Growing Farms (HBGF), on a powerful journey of resilience and regeneration. Dr. Ruiz will share her inspiring story of overcoming a life-changing injury and how it led to the creation of HBGF – a haven where individuals heal in nature while simultaneously restoring the health of our planet. Through her presentation, you’ll discover the transformative power of green therapy; learn about the principles behind HBGF’s accessible and inclusive green spaces, designed for community well-being and environmental sustainability; and explore ways to become part of the HBGF Gardens Ambassadors Alliance, a network dedicated to replicating these healing gardens across the globe.
