Prioritizing Natural Climate Solutions in CT

Room: Usdan 108
Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

Following his keynote address, Bronson will facilitate a discussion to identify and prioritize the most feasible and impactful natural climate solutions within the CT landscape. The question to focus discussion will be: what specific recommendations would this group make to CT’s state government for policies that would advance natural climate solutions? Through a deeper exploration of CT’s unique environmental challenges and opportunities, participants will discuss how a combination of land protection, management, and restoration could contribute to both national climate targets and CT’s environmental goals and sustainability initiatives.
