On Tuesday, July 24, we’ll join our hosts, the Connecticut Farmland Trust , the Litchfield Hills Greenprint Collaborative, and the Morris Land Trust for a Conservation Conversation at Farnham Farm in Morris.

Protected by the land trusts with grant assistance from DEEP (OSWA ) and NRCS (ACEP), the 138-acre pre-Revolutionary era farm is currently owned by Anne Howson Fellows, the second female owner in the farm’s long history.

A testament to family loyalty and their love of the land, the farm has been passed down to a single-family member for eight generations since 1735.
