Kristin supports a just and healthy future for people and planet by working alongside interdisciplinary experts, cross-sector professionals, and diverse stakeholders. At the Yale Center for Environmental Justice at the Yale School of the Environment, she oversaw the advancement and growth of YCEJ’s programs, cultivating partnerships and collaboration among Yale faculty, staff, students, and local partners to promote engaged research and experiential learning. In this roles, she also served as Co-Chair of the Equity and Environmental Justice Subcommittee for the Connecticut Governor’s Council on Climate Change (GC3). Currently, she is a staff facilitator for the Interpersonal and Group Dynamics course at the Yale School of Management while also integrating transformative skills to inform the co-production of usable knowledge, tools, and convenings to effectively work with adaptive challenges.

Prior to YSE, Kristin partnered with organizations committed to advancing educational equity and social justice in her hometown, Chicago. A proud first generation college grad, she earned an M. Ed in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University in 2014. Her research centered on collaborative inquiry with practitioner communities to advance educational equity.  With a background in the arts, Kristin continues to enjoy arts collaborations including most recently, Project SITE, an interdisciplinary project on Responsive Place-Making with Reciprocity Collaborative and the National Parks of the East.  She lives in New Haven’s Edgewood neighborhood and loves exploring greenspaces and impromptu dance parties with her husband and 6-year old son.
