The Haddam Land Trust (HLT) recently acquired the Nancy L Planeta Preserve.

This 19-acre preserve was donated to HLT by the heirs and family of Nancy Planeta. HLT is thankful for the generosity of this group in fulfilling Nancy’s wish that her property be conserved, as well as Nancy’s late partner, Phil Goff, who worked so hard to achieve Nancy’s conservation goal.

A socially-distanced dedication ceremony was held on November 22 to celebrate and introduce HLT’s newest preserve, and honor and reflect upon Ms. Planeta’s wish to have her land conserved.
