Land Trust Firefly Sanctuary Grows in Popularity

During late June and early July, the New Canaan Land Trust (NCLT) Firefly Sanctuary is illuminated by thousands of fireflies. This year, to keep the “fireflies happy and healthy, and to reduce the impacts of over-visitation,” the land trust required registration (which is at capacity) during the peak firefly viewing season.
