Part of the Conserving Land by Staying Connected program, the Land Trust Presidents Summit is an annual gathering of the state’s land trust leaders. The Summit fosters peer-to-peer networking for a group of individuals serving in a similar capacity in diverse land trusts, and who otherwise might not get the opportunity to meet and talk.

This year’s summit will focus on various tools from succession planning – from leadership development to collaborative models that land trusts are exploring. We will cover these topics through full-group discussion, as well as breakout sessions to allow participants to discuss issues that are applicable to their organization’s size and staffing level.

The Summit also gives CLCC an opportunity to gather information and gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Connecticut’s land trusts and their Presidents.
