Are you thinking about the future of land conservation in Connecticut? A panel of experts from the Connecticut Land Conservation Council, Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy, Save the Sound, The Nature Conservancy, and the Housatonic Valley Association will discuss a new report, Conserving Northwest Connecticut: Adaptive Strategies for Accelerating the Pace of Conservation.

View the Report >>

This webinar will explore how you and your organization can use the report to inform your own strategic conservation planning and educate your constituents and stakeholders. Learn the key findings and recommendations for considering ecological, economic, and equity issues when planning future conservation efforts in Northwest Connecticut, and how these recommendations apply in your region.

Join us for this informational webinar with a Q&A on Wednesday, November 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Land trusts, municipal leaders, environmental groups, and conservationists will leave with a stronger overall picture of land conservation in the region and how to reach for the goal of conserving 30% of Connecticut’s land by 2030 as part of the larger 30×30 movement.

Conserving Northwest Connecticut: Adaptive Strategies for Accelerating the Pace of Conservation was published in 2023 and prepared by Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy and Save the Sound with The Conway School.
