The Lyme Land Trust launched their first full-length educational video: An Exploration of Forest Plants on the Ravine Trail with naturalist Mike Zarfos, a Naturalist and PhD Candidate in Conservation Biology at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Rather than cancel the guided walk, scheduled for May, the land trust shifted their plans and asked Mike to lead a remote walk alongside the land trust’s video production team! In this half-hour long video, Mike explains how to identify several prominent species of plants and shares interesting facts about their human uses and natural ecology.
