Andrea Urbano is a forester and supervises the CT DEEP Forestry Division’s Private and Municipal Lands Unit. As such, she manages Connecticut’s Forest Stewardship (i.e., Service Forestry) and Urban Forestry Programs. Through her work with CT DEEP and several stakeholder partnerships, she develops and implements programs that educate and empower private and municipal woodland owners statewide to steward their lands. She has a Master of Science in carbon forestry, and she serves on a land trust in her hometown.
