Attorney Francois received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut as an honors scholar and her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Connecticut. Her practice includes property law, closings, wills and probate, and foreclosures. Ms. Francois’ real estate practice includes a focus on natural and working lands preservation. She represents landowners, land trusts and municipalities in land protection transactions, conservation restriction (easement) donations, bargain sales and purchases, and open space initiatives throughout Connecticut.

Attorney Francois is the editor of the CLCC Connecticut Model Conservation Easement. She is the 2014 recipient of the Working Lands Alliance Special Recognition Award for her work on the Model Agricultural Easement Project, and the 2008 recipient of the Working Lands Alliance Farmland Preservation Pathfinder Award. She serves on the Land Trust Alliance Conservation Defense Advisory Council and the CT Natural Heritage, Open Space & Land Acquisition Review Board and is a director and president of the Bethany Land Trust, Inc., and a director and officer of the Bethany Horsemen, Inc. riding organization.
