Lindsay Suhr
Lindsay Suhr is the Office Director for the Land Acquisition and Management (LAM) Unit at Connecticut DEEP, which is the real estate office of the agency. LAM’s mission is to safeguard CT DEEP’s land holdings and expand open space in CT. Staff in this unit manage the Green Plan, the Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition grant program, the Urban Green and Community Garden grant program, the Land and Water Conservation Fund program, the Highlands Conservation Act grant program, CT DEEP’s acquisition program and the evaluation and administration of land rights by third-parties on DEEP property.
Lindsay has almost 20 years of experience in the land acquisition and conservation field and a degree in Environmental Studies from Connecticut College. She worked with the Greenwich Land Trust and the Connecticut Forest and Park Association before coming to DEEP in 2020. Lindsay grew up in Connecticut and currently resides in south central Connecticut with her husband and three young boys.
