Qian Lei-Parent is an assistant extension educator at the University of Connecticut’s Center for Land Use Education and Research with research interests on GIS/remote sensing applications to natural resources management. Her current role is to perform geospatial analyses and develop web-based mapping tools to support studies and projects relating to land cover, water quality, and other environmental issues.
