Sarah Pellegrino is The Nature Conservancy in Connecticut’s Land Protection Director. In this capacity she leads a comprehensive protection program to conserve ecologically important areas in Connecticut. Sarah has many years of experience negotiating and executing real estate transactions with private landowners, government entities and other conservation partners. Additionally, she works to implement a variety of strategies in support of conservation priorities, identifies and secures funding for projects, works with public and private entities on community-based and policy-oriented tools to achieve conservation, and develops partnerships and maintains relationships on behalf of the Conservancy. She holds a Master of Public Administration and Environmental Policy from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental
