Sunset over the Long Island Sound

Through its Connecticut Conservation Partnership Program (CCPP), the Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC) has secured $6.7 million to be awarded to land trusts over the next five years, beginning with approximately $1 million this year.

Please join CLCC on June 21 from 12pm – 1:30pm or on June 23 from 6:30pm – 8pm to learn how this partnership between CLCC and CT DEEP can help your land trust’s conservation efforts.

Funded by the USDA-Natural Resource Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), CCPP will establish a coordinated process by which land trust applicants to CT DEEP’s Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition Grant Program (OSWA) may apply for a federal grant through CLCC as a source of match funds. Read more about this developing program on our website.

With the program in its earliest stages, this is a terrific opportunity to learn more and ask questions as you begin to plan for your next projects.

Who should participate?

  • Land trusts & their representatives.
  • Feel free to bring landowners with whom you are working.

Presented by:

Yaw Owusu Darko, Project Specialist-CCPP Administrator, CLCC
Carol Grasis, Assistant State Conservationists, USDA-NRCS
