Shifting Board Culture in Favor of Fundraising
Part of a land trust board’s fiduciary responsibility is to raise enough money to support the projects and programs approved in its strategic plan. And for many, the culture of the Board itself gets in the way. Some directors have been in place for years and never fundraised. Others were recruited despite a vocal unwillingness to help raise money. How do we change that? I have some suggestions. This workshop is for Board members and staff alike who recognize the need to change but don’t know how to do so.
