State Land Acquisition Funding Source Lightning Round

Room: South College B2/B3
Intro Level

In this dynamic session, participants will gain insights into various state grant programs and services designed to support land trusts and communities in preserving natural and working lands. Through a lightning round format, representatives from the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) will provide an overview of funding opportunities such as the Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition (OSWA) and Urban Green and Community Garden (UGCG) Grant Programs, the Land and Water Conservation Fund, coastal resilience initiatives, and more. Bring your questions and leave with fresh ideas for financing your upcoming projects, whether they involve recreation, trails, conservation, or coastal land acquisition.
