Currently serving as the Preserve Steward for the Aspetuck Land Trust Poindexter Nature Preserve, Dan plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and enhancing the ecological integrity of this natural gem. His responsibilities include overseeing the preserve’s ecological health, implementing habitat restoration projects, and engaging with the local community to foster environmental awareness.

As a Master Woodland Manager, Dan brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to the forefront of conservation efforts and a keen understanding of the delicate balance between human activity and the health of our woodlands.

Dan’s dedication extends beyond the theoretical realm, as he actively participates in hands-on conservation efforts, leading by example in the sustainable management of woodlands. His expertise encompasses various topics, from invasive species management to wildlife habitat improvement.
