Sydney Collins

Sydney is a young queer and neurodivergent climate advocate  based in New Haven, CT. She currently engages with Sunrise New Haven and an awesome group of young people to amplify demands for local climate action. She has previously worked among various governmental municipalities. Sydney also loves to amplify climate justice and recognize climate change as a result of historic systems of oppression. She wants to understand how these same systems perpetuate the mental health crisis, and how to create a more inclusive climate movement that leaves no young people behind. In her free time, she loves to bicycle, hang in community, be really silly, and take tender loving care of her Bearded Dragon Brad. Read more about neurodivergence in the climate movement:
