Nature for Resilient CT

Room: Usdan 108
Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

Join us for an immersive workshop tackling CT’s urgent challenges due to climate change and biodiversity loss. This workshop delves into the interconnectedness of these crises and the pivotal role of nature in providing solutions. We will review recommendations from the Governor’s Council on Climate Change and other state reports, explore the status of implementing these recommendations, including current legislative proposals, and discuss practical steps for incorporating nature-based solutions into land trust initiatives. From advocacy to on-the-ground stewardship practices, explore how your organization can contribute to a sustainable and resilient future.
