The Chester Land Trust added a new historical and educational plaque at the Constance Baker Motley Preserve. The plaque tells the story of the Little Rock Nine school desegregation case in Little Rock, Arkansas. The plaque leads to the Little Rock hiking trail where visitors can learn as they walk. Constance Baker Motley and the NAACP litigated the Little Rock Nine case, one of the most important cases that tested the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education which ruled segregated schools unconstitutional and ordered them to be integrated…
