Dog Policies Considerations Roundtable

Intro Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level

Every land trust or preservation group that opens its spaces to the public has probably had this happen… Folks who visit very much want to bring along their pets (dogs) to enjoy the spaces with them. However, many problems can and do occur when this is permitted. This roundtable discussion will discuss how land trusts can develop reasonable dog access policies and what constraints need to be applied. Doggone it, a legal, fair, and balanced policy can be achieved.
